DEDICATION OF MERIT PRAYER

SONAM DI YI THAMCHE ZIK PA NYI
By this merit, through the nature of complete omniscience,
TOP NE NYE PE DRA NAM PAM JE SHING
And the total defeat of all negative forces,
KYE GA NA CHI BA LONG TRUKPA YI
from the turbulent waves of birth, old age, sickness, death,
SI PE TSO LE DROWA DROLWAR SHOK
this ocean of existence, may all beings be set free!
RIN CHEN GE TSOG DI YI DRO WA KUN
Through this accumulation of priceless merit dedicated to all beings,
TAG TU DAM PA’I CHO DANG MI DRAL SHING
may they never be separated from the precious dharma.
RANG SHEN DON NYI DZOG PA THAR CHIN NEI
By myself and others perfectly realizing the two purposes,
CHO NGA DROG WI JIG TEN DZEI PAR SHOG
may the melodious beat of the dharma drum beautify this world.
SANGYE TEN PA DAR SHING GYEI PAR SHOG
May the propagation of the Buddha’s doctrine be ever increasing.
SEM CHEN THAM CHED DE SHING KYID PAR SHOD
May all sentient beings be blissful and happy.
NYIN DAND TSEN DU CHO LA CHOD PAR SHOG
May they practice the dharma through the day and night.
RANG SHEN DON NYI LHUN GYI DRUB PAR SHOG
May the two purposes of self and others, be spontaneously accomplished.
KYE WA KUN TU YANG DAG LAMA DANG
In all lifetimes, may I never be separated from the perfectly pure guru.
DRAL MED CHO KYI PAL LA LONG CHOD CHING
Utilizing the glorious Dharma to its utmost
SA DANG LAM GYI YON TEN RAB DZOG NE
and by excellently perfecting all pure qualities on the stages and paths.
PALDEN LAMAI GO PHANG NYUR THOB SHOG
May I swiftly achieve the state of the glorious Lama!

JAY  GA  NA  JI  BAR  LAP  DRUK  PA  YI

Through this goodness, may omniscience be attained
And thereby may every enemy mental defilement be overcome.
May beings be liberated from the ocean of samsara,
Which is troubled by waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death.

at dawn when it is time to get up, your root master appears in the sky
before you in the form of Orgyen Dorje Chang. He is surrounded by
hosts of dakas and dakinis, all playing damaru hand-drums which
resonate with the sound of mantra, awakening you from your sleep.As
you rise, visualize your body in the form of the deity and your
environment as a pure realm. Consider that the lama in your heart
ascends the central channel to the space above the crown of your head,
and remains there, joyfully.
Then, with your body in the correct posture, exhale the foul air nine
times, and then rest for a short while, allowing your mind to settle
in its natural state. When you are ready for meditation, practise the
blessing of the speech as follows:

OM AH HUM

From the syllable RAM [in my speech centre] arises fire, consuming my tongue,
Which is transformed into a three-spoked vajra of red light.
In its centre are the vowel and consonant mantras and around them the
Essence of Interdependent Origination:
Their syllables are like strings of pearls. From them,
Light streams out making offerings to the buddhas and bodhisattvas and
pleasing them;
As it converges back, all the obscurations of my speech are purified and
I obtain all the blessings and siddhis of vajra speech.

Recite this mantra seven times, and then recite the following mantra

I unify with the white Om at Machig Labdrön’s forehead.

A’a: Machig ma la solwa deb
Speech Machig Labdrön invoke
A’a: I invoke Machig Labdrön
I unify with the red A’a at Machig Labdrön’s throat.

Hung Ma gÇig ma la solwa deb
Body Machig  Labdrön invoke
Hung. I invoke Machig Labdrön
I unify with the blue Hung at Machig Labdrön’s heart.

Karpo Om gyi jingyi lob
White – mind transmission
I pray for blessings from the white Om at her forehead
I receive the transmission of the white Om

Marpo A’a: gyi jingyi lob
Red – speech transmission
I pray for blessings from the red A’a at her throat
I receive the transmission of the red A’a

Ngönpo hung gyi jingyi lob
Blue – body transmission
I pray for blessings from the blue Hung at her heart
I receive the transmission of the blue Hung

Ku sung thug gyi jing chen phob
Unification communication awareness descend
Let your great non-dual communication descend
I unify with her enlightened qualities of body, speech and mind

Ma yum chen go phang tob par shog
Great mother realised receive allow
Great Mother please be the means for us receiving transmission of your
attainment
I become unified with enlightened qualities of the Great Mother.

I explode the envisionment into wisdom space.

I repeatedly receive transmission
I repeatedly receive the three lights of transmission through Om A’a: and Hung

The truth of the Triple Jewel,

Of the Lion-faced Dakini, the enemies
NOED PAR JED PAY GEG
Who are hostile to us, teachers and students,
BAR DU CHOED PAY KYEN
Obstacles that harm, conditions that interrupt,
DOR NA TRA MI SHI PAY CHOG RI NGEN PA THAMCHED CHIR *DOG PAR GYUR CHIG
In brief, may all the inauspicious influences and evil favouritisms be reversed!

[Clap hands once, when reciting ‘CHIG’ in the last line.]
THRO MO BAR WAY TSOG NAM KYI
By the assembly of blazing wrathful dakinis,
DRA GEG JED MA THAMCHED KYI
All the enemies, obstacles and sorcerers,
LUE NGAG THAL WE DUL DU LOG
Their body and speech be pulverized into dust!
NAM SHE CHOE KYI YING SU DRONG
Their consciousness be lifted to the sphere of reality!
KHYOED KYI RIG NGAG DE PE THUE
By the power of having recited your Mantra,
NOED TED MA LUE ZHI WA DANG
May all those who harm, be pacified!
CHI SAM YID ZHIN DRUB PA DANG
Fulfil all what is wished for!
SANG NGAG TEN PA GYE PAR DZOED
Spread widely the secret teachings of the Mantrayana!
GEG RIG TONG THRAG GYED CHU ZHI WA DANG
Pacify the eighty thousand classes of obstacles!
MI THUEN NOED PE KYEN DANG DREL WA DANG
Free us from inconsistent and harmful conditions!
THUEN PA DRUB CHING PHUN SUM TSOG PA TE
And be replete with (the conditions of) harmony!
TASHI DE KYANG DENG DIR DE LEG SHO
Also by this auspiciousness, bring happiness and wholesomeness to the
present event!

shyi yong su dakpa wang chen ser gyi sa shyi
The earth is the golden ground, completely pure, full of beauty and power.
om vajra rekhe ah hung
chi chak ri khor yuk gi korwé ü su hung
The circular iron mountain wall completely surrounds it; in the centre
is the letter Hung—

Here is Meru, king of mountains;
shar lü pakpo lho dzambu ling
In the East is Purva Videha
In the South is Jambudvipa
nub balang chö chang dra mi nyen
In the West is Aparagodaniya
In the North is Uttarakuru

Beside them are Deha and Videha
Chamara and Aparachamara

To the Supreme and Noble Lama, in order to request the profound nectar

To be said when practising for the long life of the master:
palden lama shyap pé kal gyar ten ring zapmöi chö kyi khorlo korwé yön du mik té
To the glorious lama, in order that your life may be secure for
hundreds of kalpas and that you may continue to turn the wheel of the
profound Dharma teachings,

palden lama dampa shyab pé kalpa gyamtsor tso shying shyé la chökyi
khorlo korwar solwa debpé
To the glorious Lama, with the prayer that he may remain among us for
oceans of kalpas and continue to turn the wheel of Dharma,
